Equivalent to IT Level
This is a basic course covering modules in Word, Spreadsheets, Database and Charts and Graphs. On achievement of this certificate the student will be able to evidence a basic computer competence to any employer and use the competencies gained to access higher level IT courses.
ECDL-European Computer Driving Licence BCS-British Computer Society
Equivalent to IT Level 2
An exciting and extremely popular, highly regarded modular course providing an Award recognised nationally, and internationally by employers. Designed for beginners with basic computing knowledge who require a formal certificate to evidence their skills. Each module is learned thoroughly and mastered before a short test is taken. When all seven modules have been completed and the tests passed, a Certificate is awarded by BCS. Candidates will be asked to attend an interview. Learn to create charts and graphs. Includes Power Point, e-mail and Internet access.
