Courses

ESOL courses are for people who want to learn or improve their English for everyday life, work and study. You can combine learning English with other work skills too. We run courses at all levels.

If English is not your first language, you might want to improve your reading and writing.
We offer support and classes for anyone whose first language is not English, at all four of our campuses and at over 50 community and business venues across the city.
You can improve your spoken and written English in friendly and welcoming classes and workshops at a venue near you. You can also learn new skills as you improve your English.

ESOL for Citizenship Test-College Certificate

This course is for those applying for citizenship and is designed to deliver ESOL language training and citizenship knowledge training necessary to pass the Government new citizenship test. Each course will be individually tailored to meet each students needs and will comprise one or more of the following Modules:

  • ESOL/English specifically related to citizenship
  • ESOL/English for those with English below Entry Level 3
  • Knowledge of UK life required for the Citizenship Test
  • Mock Tests with individual feedback
  • Basic computer use
